When I was a kid, my grandmother had a piano. I would sit in the living room and play alone at our family gatherings. I've always been an uncomfortable person, but in that box of string and ivory, I found peace. I would travel time, I would live on other planets, adventure into uncharted caverns of my consciousness and see the beauty that was that texture of sound resonating through my spirit. I knew I had found something special. Something that I could hold individually, find what I needed, but share it in the space that we occupy.
